These pictures were made to accompany a compilation of songs that are collaborations by the shuffled members of various bands in Trinidad.

In their own bands, each musician is a part of a machine that's familiar with and works well with the other parts. In these collaboration experiments, where the bands are all mixed up - the drummer from here, the singer from there, etc. - they didn't always work so well. Where they do, though, its by adapting - embracing the opportunity to re-purpose, work in a new way, and be creative in making something functional from the available parts.
